Average food taste, it's McDonald's, nothing special. But the service is excellent, I rarely ever wait more than 4 to 5 minutes maximum.. The employees are in a good mood, and always accommodating. The tall African American manager is amazing, and always fun to talk to and full of positive energy. Great job McDonald's on 21 st Street.
Went through drive thru about 9:15am an it was wrapped around. However they got people through an moving on pretty quick an wasn't seeing people having to pull up into parking spots to wait on things either! They seemed to be doing a great job on keeping the flow going!
Newly renovated inside, a more open concept. Went away from tables and booth to long table hotel style seating concept. Looks nice. The indoor play area remained the same. More modern look and feel. Gets busy since it’s the only McDonald’s on the north side of Newark. Service was good and quick. Staff were helpful.

This place is much better now that it's moved to 21st Street from Mt. Vernon Rd. (even though it's been years ago that it moved). It's just a better location and not so out of the way. I don't eat McDonald's very much, other than for breakfast or just an iced tea from time to time. I've never had any complaints with this location. It's always clean, fast, and friendly.
